Saved items and shopping pages
The Chrome extension stores product details, waiting and approval deadlines, pass balances, drafts and preferences in your Chrome profile. There is no cloud backup or account sync. Uninstalling removes extension data. Removing a saved item also removes its current approval; it does not refund passes.
Ripen reads supported shopping carts and checkout pages for its purchase-waiting feature. Amazon is included. Additional shopping protection is optional and experimental. Public product-link lookup requests product pages without browser cookies. Product images load from Amazon and merchant image servers. These services receive normal connection information such as your IP address.
Ripen does not collect card details or general browsing history. This beta does not capture screenshots, use OCR, upload shopping pages to an AI model, or run analytics. Similar search has been removed.
Website accounts
If you sign in, your email and authentication/session information are processed by Supabase for Ripen account access. Session information is stored in this browser to keep you signed in. Accounts do not copy purchases from the extension. Supabase and hosting providers may process connection/security logs under their service policies.
Optional public sharing
Choosing Share publishes saved Amazon product details through Ripen’s sharing service. Anyone with the link can view them. Pass balances and timers are excluded. Removing items updates the shared list when the service is available. Stop sharing before uninstalling; the private edit key stays only on your computer. Shared links do not expire automatically.
Google Form refills
Submitting the refill form sends your chosen reason and anything you write to Google Forms and the form owner. The form does not request your name or collect your email. Google may process your signed-in account and connection information under its own privacy policy. Ripen observes only this form’s confirmation page to start the existing 48-hour refill; it does not read your answers.
Retention and deletion
Local records stay until you remove them or uninstall. Account data, published shared lists and Google Form responses have no automatic deletion schedule in this beta. Email support to request deletion, providing enough information to locate your account, shared link or response. We may need to verify ownership. Provider security logs and backups follow provider retention policies; we do not promise immediate removal from every backup.
Billing and choices
The beta is free and collects no payment information. Additional-store access and notifications can be disabled through Chrome. Public sharing is optional. Signing out clears this browser’s account session; it does not delete your account or extension records.
